Job summary

Chartwells Higher Ed is hiring for a full-time Shift Supervisor at CSU Northridge. Direct the activities of associates during each shift, ensuring tasks meet quality, productivity and safety standards while following company policies.

The role requires 1–2 years of coffee supervision and leadership experience, with open availability Mon-Fri between 7:00 AM and 8:00 PM. Competitive hourly pay from $22 to $24, plus benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• At least 1–2 years of coffee supervisor and leadership experience.
• Experience supervising shifts and creating schedules.
• Experience in a cafe/food service environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct the activities of associates during a shift and ensure tasks meet policy and procedure.
• Provide training and create work schedules.
• Evaluate performance, reward high performers and discipline underperformers.
• Prepare production or sales reports for management and ensure quality, productivity and safety.
• Acts as the contact person for employees with complaints or requests for time off.
• Mentor and develop staff and encourage advancement within the organization.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
