Job summary

The Classroom Technology Specialist at the University of Oregon Information Services unit will provide technical support and site administration for classrooms and equipment. You will perform minor repairs, deliveries, installations, and offer training to students, staff, and faculty using classroom AV systems.

The role requires independent work under the AV Services manager, with possible evening/weekend hours and occasional holidays aligned with academic calendar needs.

Qualifications

• AA degree in computer science, information systems, educational technology, communications, or related fields, or similar certified coursework and at least one year of related work experience.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot classroom AV and projection systems in live settings.
• Monitor equipment requests, reservations, intake, and storage.
• Assist with minor equipment installations and maintenance.
• Provide training and consultation on AV and computer equipment to students, staff, and faculty.
