Qualifications

  • High school graduation, endorsed trade school or equivalent experience.
  • 4 years of experience operating heating plants or boiler rooms.
  • Valid City of Detroit high pressure boiler operator’s license required.
  • Knowledge of hydronic heat systems and maintenance.
  • Ability to perform boiler inspections and repairs.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and operate Central Heating Plant and CHP systems.
  • Resolve equipment malfunctions and emergency issues.
  • Perform repairs and maintenance on HVAC and plumbing systems.
