Job summary

University of North Texas is seeking a Verde Catering Supervisor to lead catering operations, ensure flawless event execution, and maintain floor cleanliness and organization. The role requires a deep understanding of event logistics, client expectations, and university resources.

Ideal candidates have supervisory experience in high-volume food service, strong customer service skills, and the ability to build client relationships.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED equivalent and two years of experience in institutional or commercial food preparation, including one year of supervisory experience; or any equivalent combination of experience, education, or training.
• Ability to read, understand, extract information and execute events as detailed in BEOs using all processes and systems in place.

Responsibilities

• Execute catering events including deliveries, breaks, plated events, receptions and galas.
• Schedule staffing per event requirements and manage floor operations.
• Ensure adherence to time, attendance, and meal policies.
• Read and execute event details from BEOs and related documents.
• Operate and coordinate event paperwork and staff management tools.
• Work flexible hours including weekends and some holidays.
