Job summary

Chartwells Higher Ed at Saint Edwards University in Austin, TX is hiring full-time and part-time Catering Attendants. You will deliver and serve food at scheduled functions under the catering captain, may drive a delivery truck, set up and break down service areas, and ensure clean, safe event spaces.

On-call as needed to meet catering needs. A valid Texas food handler’s permit and/or alcohol servers’ permit is required; a driver’s license may be needed.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license may be required; must obtain a food handler’s permit and/or alcohol servers’ permit where required by state law.

Responsibilities

• Delivers and serves food at scheduled functions under the supervision of the catering captain.
• Ensures accurate execution of events during shift.
• May drive a catering delivery truck; sets up and serves at functions; cleans area during and after events.
• Returns leftover food and equipment to the catering facility promptly.
• Maintains knowledge of the full menu and products on hand; provides friendly service.
