ECI Management Group is seeking a dependable Prep Cook for our college café environment. You will prepare fresh ingredients, sandwiches, salads, and grab-and-go items for daily service, while labeling and storing food properly.

Maintain clean stations, assist during busy periods, and ensure safety guidelines are followed. Ideal candidates have prior kitchen experience, knowledge of food safety, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Previous food preparation or kitchen experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be dependable, punctual, and a team player.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food items for daily breakfast and lunch service.
• Wash, cut, and portion vegetables, fruits, meats, and other ingredients.
• Prepare sandwiches, wraps, salads, and grab-and-go items.
• Label, date, and properly store all food products.
• Stock and organize prep stations, coolers, and storage areas.
• Monitor food temperatures and follow food safety guidelines.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized work area.
• Assist cooks and other kitchen staff during busy meal periods.
• Follow all company policies and health department regulations.
