Job summary

Singularity Defense in Keenesburg, CO is seeking a Project Manager to lead the planning, permitting, design, and construction of a 100+ acre energetic manufacturing campus. You will transition into Facility Manager as the site ramps to production, overseeing day-to-day operations, safety, and continuous improvement.

You will manage cross-functional teams, engage with government and contractors, and ensure compliance with DoD/ATF requirements while delivering on time and budget.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in construction, facilities, or capital-project management.
• Experience managing projects in manufacturing, energetics, aerospace, or defense.
• Ability to plan and sequence complex, multi-phase projects with competing priorities.
• Strong stakeholder communication with government reps, contractors, and leadership.
• Experience developing and managing project budgets and schedules using MS Project/Excel/Smartsheet.
• Knowledge of risks in heavy civil and industrial construction and mitigation experience.
• U.S. citizen, U.S. national, or lawful permanent resident.
• Eligible for State and Federal explosives licensing, background check.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage integrated project plans for a 100+ acre campus.
• Lead permitting and land-use approvals with local/state authorities.
• Interface with design consultants and contractors, ensuring scope, schedule, and quality.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and DoD/ESQD requirements from day one.
• Manage budgets, schedules, and risk across design, construction, and stakeholders.
• Communicate project status to leadership, government reps, and neighbors.
• Coordinate startup and commissioning with operations to align milestones.
