The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma and a valid MN 2nd Class Grade B Stationary Engineer’s License, along with effective communication skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Related professional experience and a valid MN 2nd Class Grade B Stationary Engineer’s License.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Operate high-pressure boiler plant on a rotating shift basis.
• Monitor and maintain boilers, pumps, and compressors.
• Perform routine maintenance during non-heating season.

Skills

Testing, inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment

Effective communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to read blueprints and diagrams

Knowledge of diagnostic equipment

Manual dexterity

Education
