Communities In Schools of Central Texas is seeking a Temporary Program Support Specialist to join our campus-based services team in Austin, TX. This in-person, full-time role supports CIS case management for students across multiple campuses, with travel between sites as needed and a horizon through December 2026.

You will coordinate referrals, obtain guardian consent, complete agency documentation, and provide ongoing case management check-ins while collaborating with school staff and community

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in social work, counseling, psychology, human services, or related field or 4 years of relevant experience
• Proven ability to build positive relationships with CIS staff, school personnel, and community partners
• Cultural competence when engaging diverse audiences, including students, families, staff
• Self-motivated, able to work autonomously and with others
• Strong prioritization in dynamic environments
• Experience with crisis intervention, assessments, and referrals
• Strong oral and written communication; Spanish proficiency preferred

Responsabilidades

• Provide outreach and short-term support to students and families to ensure continuity of services
• Support students and families during staff transitions to maintain CIS connections
• Receive and manage new referrals with accuracy
• Obtain guardian consent via calls, emails, and home visits when appropriate
• Conduct needs assessments and complete required agency documentation
• Document services and report regularly to the Program Director
