Job summary

Chartwells Higher Ed at the University of Massachusetts-Dartmouth is seeking a full-time Baker. Prior bake shop knowledge and kitchen acumen are required. Schedule is Sunday through Thursday, 12:30 pm to 8:00 pm, at 285 Old Westport Road, North Dartmouth, MA 02747.

Online applications accepted only. Prepares baked goods according to recipes and production specifications, maintains sanitation, and assists with production planning.

Qualifications

• Prior bake shop knowledge and kitchen acumen are required.

Responsibilities

• Bake breads, pies, cakes, cookies and other pastries per production sheets.
• Ensure proper food preparation by following approved recipes and production standards.
• Maintain sanitation and orderliness of equipment, supplies and workstation.
• Interact with customers and resolve complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
• Complete shift work in a timely and thorough manner.
