Job summary

Milwaukee Area Technical College (MATC) seeks a part-time AV Technician to support the Information Technology Department in Mequon. Responsibilities include maintaining the Faculty Resource Center, installing and updating instructional media tools, and assisting staff with media production needs.

The role requires an Associate’s degree in Graphics Technology or related field with 2+ years in visual communications/media technologies; a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Graphics Technology or related field.
• Two (2) years of occupational experience in visual communications and/or media technologies.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in related field with over two (2) years of occupational experience in visual communications and/or media technologies

Responsibilities

• Maintain Faculty Resource Center computer stations and copy center; manage hardware/software supplies.
• Prepare annual Instructional Technology budget for classroom and conference needs; coordinate with vendors.
• Provide technical support for collaboration tech and distance education connections.
• Train faculty and staff on equipment and software for instructional materials.
• Coordinate events and trade shows; participate in media design committees.

Education

Associate’s degree in Graphics Technology or related field

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with >2 years experience in visual communications/media technologies
