Job summary

Valley Christian Schools seeks an AVL & Technology Specialist to serve as the first contact for audio/video/lighting support at events. You will troubleshoot equipment, manage tickets, and help deploy technology across campuses, reporting to the Director of Technology.

The role includes after-hours event attendance, inventory control, and ongoing training on systems new to you. A high school diploma and two years of tech support experience are required, with a valid Arizona driver’s license and

Qualifications

  • Must have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and uphold the school's Mission & Beliefs.
  • Must maintain valid IVP Level 1 fingerprint clearance.
  • Arizona driver’s license required.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Ability to learn new systems and be trained in unfamiliar tech.

Responsibilities

  • Execute AVL portion of events.
  • Provide technical support to faculty, staff, students, and parents.
  • Assist with deployment, operation, and maintenance of technology across campuses.
  • Assist with inventory and storage areas.
  • Attend events outside normal school hours as needed.
  • Follow Employee Handbook policies.
