Crossroads Church is seeking a Campus Associate Pastor in Hampstead, MD. This full‑time role will lead a campus under the Campus Pastor, providing pastoral care, worship leadership, and staff development while advancing the church’s mission.

You will reproduce Crossroads culture, oversee volunteers, and implement new initiatives, delivering biblically grounded sermons and shepherding the campus community with wisdom and discernment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; seminary study strongly preferred.
• Minimum five years in Christian ministry with leadership of staff or volunteers.
• Affirmation of Crossroads Church mission, values and beliefs.

Responsibilities

• Reproduce Culture – Embrace and replicate Crossroads’ culture at the campus level. Hold self, staff and volunteers accountable through attitudes and interactions.
• Provide Pastoral Care and Discipleship – Provide care including hospital visits, weddings, funerals, crisis response, and spiritual guidance; ensure ongoing spiritual formation through groups and mentoring.
• Lead and Teach at Worship Services – Serve as pastoral presence at weekly worship services; prepare sermons aligning with doctrine and series; receive coaching to align with culture; deliver biblically-grounded sermons in rotation.
• Develop Campus Staff – Oversee orientation and development of campus staff; manage staff and budget in support of campus pastor; collaborate for cohesive vision.
• Direct Volunteer Leaders – Cultivate volunteer leadership, recruit, train, and coach.
• Implement New Initiatives – Encourage staff to propose new ideas; implement approved initiatives; lead projects.
• Oversee Campus Operations – Collaborate to ensure facilities, hospitality, security, and Sunday readiness are excellent.
