Job summary

Westminster Theological Seminary in Hampstead, MD is seeking a Campus Pastor to shepherd the campus community. The role focuses on reproducing church culture, providing pastoral care, and leading worship and teaching during weekly services.

You will develop campus staff and volunteers, implement new ministry initiatives, and oversee campus operations with the Campus Pastor and Central services, sustaining a healthy, gospel-centered environment.

Responsibilities

• Reproduce Culture – Embrace and replicate Crossroads’ culture at the campus level, with accountability and feedback.
• Provide Pastoral Care and Discipleship – Hospital visits, weddings, funerals, crisis response, and spiritual guidance, plus ongoing formation.
• Lead and Teach at Worship Services – Preach, receive coaching, align sermons with doctrine, teach cohorts, and create worship experiences.
• Develop Campus Staff – Oversee orientation, development, performance feedback, budget stewardship, and collaboration.
• Direct Volunteer Leaders – Identify, recruit, train, and coach volunteers.
• Implement New Initiatives – Encourage staff to propose ideas and implement approved ministries.
• Oversee Campus Operations – Ensure facilities, hospitality, security, Sunday readiness.
