Job summary

California State University, Fullerton invites applications for a Laborer in Asset Management and Document Services. This on-site, temporary position supports furniture moves, relocations, surplus property, and recycling programs, with duties across campus facilities.

The role requires heavy lifting, safety adherence, and the ability to work Monday through Friday 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM. A high school diploma or GED and a background check are required; defensive driver training is provided after hire.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and write at a level appropriate to the duties of the position.
• Background check is required for employment.
• Strong safety awareness and ability to move heavy items.

Responsibilities

• Assist with equipment moves and relocations; operate material-handling equipment and delivery trucks.
• Collect, sort, organize, and move furniture, machinery, assets, and other equipment.
• Support relocations related to recycling and surplus programs; photograph and post items for sale.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of storage areas and pickup/drop-off locations.
