Qualifications

  • Bachelor or Master of Architecture from NAAB-accredited program with 1 year of full-time architectural experience; or
  • Bachelor of Science in architecture with 4-year program and 2 years of full-time experience.

Responsibilities

  • Manage small-scale capital projects and multiple in-house renovations through all phases: planning, design, procurement, construction, closeout.
  • Coordinate with campus stakeholders, Facilities Managed trades, CUNY Managed skilled trades, consulting firms, and DASNY to monitor schedules, reviews, and site coordination.
  • Prepare architectural floor plans and space layouts for in-house renovations and space improvements.
  • Facilitate collaboration among campus departments, consultants, contractors, regulatory agencies and stakeholders to support project delivery.
  • Communicate schedules and project milestones to College community and affected stakeholders.
  • Maintain and distribute project documentation, reports, schedules, and tracking records for effective management.

Education

NAAB-accredited professional degree in architecture + 1 year of full-time experience
Bachelor of Science in Architecture (first four years of a five-year first professional degree) + 2 years of full-time experience
