Job summary

OpenAI is hiring a full-time program and community manager to shape how we engage with college campuses where AI tools are most adopted. You will own relationships with a select group of campuses that influence student developers and startup founders, guiding engagement strategy and providing personalized support to student leaders.

You will collaborate with community, marketing, product, recruiting, startup and education teams to ensure students have a superior learning and building experience

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of AI tools including ChatGPT and Codex.
• Experience building or shipping AI projects or workflows.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with diverse stakeholders.
• Strong planning and coordination for events or communities.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop relationships with campus student leaders.
• Learn campus culture and identify where OpenAI can add value.
• Support semester planning, member recruitment, and campus engagement.
• Serve as main OpenAI contact for frontier campus chapters.
• Partner to design and run campus events, workshops, and activations.
• Shape engagement formats for students across campuses.
