The University of Iowa Office of Admissions is seeking an Admissions Events Coordinator (100% appointment) to lead recruitment events and outreach for prospective students. The role emphasizes planning, collaboration with campus partners, and delivering impactful campus experiences for thousands of visitors.

You will implement programs, coordinate with internal and external partners, and train staff and volunteers to ensure successful events and engaging informational sessions.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
• Some related administrative program and event planning experience (typically 6 months to 1 year), may include college internships or related undergraduate experience.
• Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends in support of admissions events.
• Ability to travel locally, regionally, and occasionally statewide, as needed.
• The ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives, projects, groups, or activities, making effective judgments as to prioritizing and time allocation.
• Oral and written communication skills and the ability to prepare and deliver presentations.

Responsabilidades

• Plan, implement, and assess recruitment programs and events.
• Coordinate recruitment and outreach activities with campus and external partners.
• Organize recruitment events for academic colleges and departments, virtual events, and more.
• Develop comprehensive event planning and implementation timelines.
• Train staff, student employees, and student volunteers on event content and their responsibilities.
