Job Details: Job Location: Watertown Campus – Watertown, MA 02472 | Position Type: Full‑Time/Part‑Time | Education Level: None | Salary Range: $17.00 – $25.00 per hour | Travel Percentage: Negligible | Job Shift: Sunday

Position Overview

Grace Chapel is looking for an energetic, enthusiastic Campus Administrator to join our Wilmington Campus team who is passionate about serving the church in a vital role to enable the work of the church to happen every day. If you are a detail oriented, proactive, project planner who likes to do what it takes to make sure the “trains are running on time”, this is the place for you! We are looking for an individual who is passionate and innovative, with a pragmatism for Operations balanced with a flair for campus and volunteer enablement.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee and ensure all events on the Campus, including Sunday Services, go smoothly.
  • Oversee and ensure that all post event communications and follow up items are done in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with other Campus Administrators to share best practices and resources.
  • Plan and coordinate with Internal and external stakeholders and vendors to ensure all resources are available for events and gatherings.
  • Ensure that Campus process compliance is maintained and updated as needed.
  • Continuously recruit and schedule volunteers, providing training and feedback when necessary.
  • Engagement Responsible for overseeing all the internal and external communication generated by the Marketing and Communications team.
  • Responsible for ensuring the development of content for marketing collateral including collecting and sharing faith stories, updating website content, sending out weekly newsletters, organizing and updating announcements to the congregation.
  • Responsible for ensuring and promoting regular social media posts about what is happening in the life of the church.
  • Manage, update and maintain Church Management database for Campus.
  • Handling online and offline marketing campaigns for outreach events which includes immaculate planning, managing and handling multiple stakeholders within and outside organization.
Qualifications
  • Organization: Qualified applicant will have the gift of administration, as everything about this role relates to creating organizational systems and attention to detail.
  • Proactive: Must be able to help move the team forward, rather than needing to be closely managed.
  • Flexible: Must be willing and able to adapt to last‑minute developments that are typical of church ministry.
  • Communication: Strong communication and interpersonal skills in a variety of mediums (face‑to‑face, email, telephone, letters).
  • Computer Skills: Strong computer skills with specific proficiency in MS Office applications, a variety of social media platforms, and adaptable to learn new web‑based applications.
  • Passionate: A strong desire to be part of a local church ministry team.
Education and Training Requirements
  • A solid background and experience working in an office environment.
  • Experience working within a church or non‑profit setting a plus.
  • A growing relationship with Jesus Christ.
  • Ability to attract, train and develop a team of volunteers.
  • Strong relational skills.
  • Successful at inviting and training volunteers.
  • A continuous learner.
  • Able to organize and work independently.
  • Proactive, flexible and able to adapt to last‑minute developments typical of church ministry.
