Compass Group USA's campus team at the University of Houston is hiring immediately for a full-time Administrative Assistant to provide clerical support for food service programs, handle phones, and assist management with confidential documents.

Qualifications

• Prior admin experience preferred.
• Strong customer service skills required.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Answer telephones and direct inquiries professionally.
• Assist management with confidential employment documents.
• Staffing assistance when employees call out.
• Maintain relationships with staff, school personnel, parents and supervisor.
• Maintain records of students eligible for free and reduced-price lunches.
• Enter weekly cash sales and meal counts using computer.
• Perform daily bank deposit reconciliation.
• Process vendor invoices and verify pricing.
• Prepare monthly state claim form for reimbursement.
• Assist in preparation of end-of-month financial reports.
• Attend in-service and safety meetings as required.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
