Job summary

Ivy Tech Evansville seeks qualified adjunct faculty to supplement the Education instruction needs of our students at the Evansville, IN campus. This position teaches students who may go on to become elementary school teachers, teaching assistants, or other roles within an elementary school setting.

The adjunct faculty member will be responsible for creating a learning environment that assists students in reaching their goals and for providing effective instruction and assessment within the

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Education required.
• Current or expired professional state teaching license/certification.
• Three years of elementary or secondary teaching experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction in person at the Evansville campus.
• Develop syllabus appropriate to course(s) and follow College requirements.
• Maintain attendance and grading records per College policy.
• Be available to students outside scheduled class time.
• Promote diversity and inclusive teaching practices.
• Utilize Blackboard, Canva, PowerPoint, etc. as appropriate.
• Notify program/department chair in emergencies.
