Job summary

Ivy Tech Evansville seeks qualified adjunct faculty to supplement the Education instruction needs of our students at the Evansville, IN campus. This role involves teaching future educators and support staff in person during the fall term, using Blackboard and other tools to deliver engaging, assessment-driven instruction.

The position is part-time and semester-based, with a schedule starting in October, and requires a master’s degree in education, valid state licensure, and relevant teaching

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Education or higher.
• Current or expired state teaching license/certification.
• Three years of elementary or secondary teaching experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person instruction at the Evansville, IN campus.
• Create and follow course syllabus.
• Maintain attendance and grading records per College policy.
• Be available to students outside scheduled class time.
• Use Blackboard, Canva, PowerPoint as appropriate.
• Meet all scheduled classes of contracted courses.
• Promote diversity and inclusive teaching practices.
• Other duties as assigned.
