Ivy Tech Community College of Indiana Evansville seeks an Electric Line Technology Adjunct Instructor to teach in person at the Evansville campus, delivering engaging instruction across delivery methods and formats.
Students study electrical principles for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting power lines, including transformers, grounding, protective equipment, climbing techniques, and tools.
Ivy Tech Evansville seeks a Electric Line Technology Adjunct Instructor to provide engaging instruction in all delivery methods and formats within Electric Line Technology.
Electric Line Technology students will study the electrical principles required for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting power lines.
They'll also learn about transformers, grounding, protective equipment, climbing techniques and tools, and rigging.
These students may go on to pursue careers as Electric Linemen or be a journeyman line worker.
Hiring Range: $45.00 per contact hour (approximately $2,160 per 8-week course).
Work Hours: This role would teach classes running on Tuesday and Thursday from 5:00pm- 8:50pm starting in the August term. Adjunct Faculty positions typically begin at the start of semesters or the midpoint,: January, March, August, or October. Specific hours will depend on classes assigned but may include evenings.
