Job summary

Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi is seeking a Coordinator for Programming to advise CAB, coordinate Anchor Camp, and lead large-scale campus events such as concerts and Homecoming. You will supervise student leaders, shape campus traditions, and collaborate with multiple campus partners to deliver engaging programs.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree, 1 year of related experience, and strong leadership and communication skills. A Master’s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field.
• 1 year progressively responsible experience in developing student activities/orientations.
• Leadership experience in a student organization as an undergrad/grad.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• Experience planning, implementing, and evaluating university events.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and manage budgets.

Responsibilities

• Advise the Campus Activities Board (CAB) and provide leadership, training and support to student leaders.
• Plan meetings, events, retreats, and social activities; oversee CAB budgeting and risk management.
• Oversee CAB member selection, supervision, and training; develop leaders.
• Coordinate Anchor Camp first-year camp and develop its curriculum.
• Lead marketing and social media for CAB, Anchor Camp, and events; track expenses.
• Represent Student Activities on committees and collaborate with various campus offices.
