Scheels in Rapid City is seeking a Specialty Shop Manager to deliver an exceptional customer experience by assisting with product selection and managing shop inventory. This role requires at least 21 years of age due to firearms compliance and offers competitive compensation with ESOP and comprehensive benefits.

Responsibilities include maintaining expert product knowledge, leading inventory control, and promoting Scheels Visa while ensuring a welcoming, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 months related experience or training.
• Must be at least 21 years old to handle firearms.

Responsabilités

• Deliver exceptional customer service by engaging customers and guiding them through the sale, including Scheels Visa promotion.
• Maintain expert-level knowledge in all selling areas and train others.
• Meet or exceed personal sales goals while delivering a high-quality customer experience.
• Manage inventory by running and analyzing Internal Flash Reports.
• Keep backstock organized and ensure merchandise is displayed and replenished on the floor.
• Ensure products are accurately displayed with price tags, stickers, and signage.
• Maintain a professional appearance, positive attitude, and team-oriented atmosphere.
• Communicate professionally with associates, the Scheels Campus, and vendors.
• Ensure work area is clean, organized, and safety standards are met.
• Possible revenue and math tasks: currency, measurements, percentages.
• Work schedule includes evenings, weekends, and holidays; may include varied hours and two weekend per month.
