Scheels in Rapid City is seeking a Specialty Shop Manager to deliver an exceptional customer experience by assisting with product selection and managing shop inventory. Responsabilités

• Deliver exceptional customer service by engaging customers and guiding them through the sale, including Scheels Visa promotion.
• Maintain expert-level knowledge in all selling areas and train others.
• Meet or exceed personal sales goals while delivering a high-quality customer experience.
• Manage inventory by running and analyzing Internal Flash Reports.
• Keep backstock organized and ensure merchandise is displayed and replenished on the floor.
• Ensure products are accurately displayed with price tags, stickers, and signage.
• Maintain a professional appearance, positive attitude, and team-oriented atmosphere.
• Communicate professionally with associates, the Scheels Campus, and vendors.
• Ensure work area is clean, organized, and safety standards are met.
• Possible revenue and math tasks: currency, measurements, percentages.
• Work schedule includes evenings, weekends, and holidays; may include varied hours and two weekend per month.

The Specialty Shop Manager will deliver an exceptional customer experience by assisting with product selection. They will also be responsible for managing the inventory within their specialty shop.

This role requires all associates to be at least 21 years of age due to compliance requirements for processing firearms.

Compensation:

$45,000+

Schedule:

Must be flexible to work assigned schedule between 8 a.m. and 9 p.m., Monday through Saturday, 11 a.m. and 6 p.m., Sunday. Schedule may include varied hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Must be available two weekends a month. Average hours per week is 40 hours.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver exceptional customer service by seeking out and engaging with customers, going through the steps of the sale to determine their needs, recommending appropriate products, and promoting the Scheels Visa Credit Card
• Maintain expert-level knowledge in all selling areas, as well as lead product knowledge training for other associates
• Consistently meet or exceed personal sales goals while delivering a high-quality customer experience
• Manage inventory by running and analyzing Internal Flash Reports
• Effectively maintain an organized backstock while ensuring merchandise is properly displayed and replenished on the sales floor
• Ensures their product is accurately displayed to customers through price tagging, sales stickers, and signage
• Maintain a professional appearance, positive attitude, and team-oriented atmosphere
• Communicate professionally with other associates within the store, the Scheels Campus, and Vendors/Sales Representatives
• Ensures their work area is clean, organized, and meets safety standards
• Ability to perform basic math; perform operations using units of currency, measurements, and understand percentages
• Ability to work assigned schedule; may include varied hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Including product knowledge meetings

Education & Experience:

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED), 1-3 months of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Physical Requirements/Lifting Requirements:

Must be able to sit, stand, bend at the waist, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push/pull, lift, talk, and hear with or without reasonable accommodation.

Heavy work – Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects
