Job summary

Blue Water Development Corp. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain property and equipment across Adirondacks campground facilities.

You will handle electrical, plumbing, and HVAC tasks, inspect buildings and cottages, and respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and guests. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and at least 1 year in a maintenance role, with good physical condition and manual dexterity.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of maintenance experience.
• Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems.
• Must be able to lift heavy items and work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain property equipment, fixtures, or mechanics.
• Respond to maintenance requests from management and staff.
• Inspect cottages, buildings and common areas.
• Keep tools and maintenance room organized and in good working order.
• Perform basic electrical, plumbing, and HVAC repairs.
• Maintain maintenance logs and paperwork.
• Prepare vacant rooms for new guests and perform repairs as needed.
• Ensure property is guest-ready and clean at all times.
• Attend to additional duties as assigned.
