Job summary

Kampgrounds of America, Inc. in Wisconsin is seeking a Maintenance Associate to keep campground buildings, facilities, equipment, and grounds in good working order.

You will perform carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and painting tasks, and install fixtures or appliances as needed, often outdoors and in varying weather. The role requires basic electrical/plumbing knowledge, safe chemical handling, a valid driver's license, and ability to work nights, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing equipment and installation.
• Basic knowledge of chemical properties, handling and usage.
• Basic knowledge of propane and gasoline dispensing.
• Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays.
• Capable of working independently and as part of a team.
• Valid Driver's license

Responsibilities

• Perform carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance as directed.
• Adhere to KOA safety programs and local regulations.
• Inspect facilities and equipment for proper function.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures and implement repairs.
• Install fixtures, equipment, and appliances as needed.
• Maintain pool and water features safely and chemistries.
• Provide friendly, service-oriented guest interactions.
• Follow quality assurance and prioritize tasks by urgency
