Job summary

Osborn for Senate in Nebraska is seeking a Finance Assistant to support the candidate’s fundraising operation and help drive the campaign’s finance goals. The role requires strong organization and a proactive approach to donor management.

The ideal candidate will maintain donor databases, track pledges, research prospects, and coordinate with the Finance Director and fundraising consultant. This is a full-time, in-person position in Nebraska with some travel and irregular hours.

Qualifications

• Data organization and donor tracking experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to travel and work irregular hours.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update donor databases and event trackers.
• Identify, research, and prioritize prospective donors.
• Track pledges, commitments, and follow-up tasks.
• Assist finance team with general tasks in a timely, organized manner.
• Coordinate with the Finance Director and fundraising consultant on strategy and scheduling.
• Assist in recruiting, training, and managing finance interns and volunteers.
• Support thank-you letter program and donor acknowledgements.
• Prepare briefing materials for fundraising meetings and events.
• Staff fundraising events and help with event logistics.
