Job summary

Rick Crosson for Congress is seeking a part-time Field Organizer to manage the day-to-day volunteer operations from September 1 through November 24, 2026. The role is based in Green Bay, WI, with travel across WI-08 and substantial remote eligibility.

Approximately 25–30 hours per week, including evenings and weekends. Prior experience with VAN/Action Network/Mobilize or the ability to learn quickly is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating volunteers for campaigns or events.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage time and meet deadlines under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Design, launch, and manage volunteer programs (phone banking, text banking, postcard writing, virtual events).
• Create, staff, and maintain volunteer shifts and events in Mobilize.
• Recruit volunteers through outreach and partner organizations; follow up with interested individuals.
• Retain and develop volunteers through clear assignments and recognition.
• Coordinate with the party campaign to align activities and avoid duplication.
• Recruit and place volunteers for literature distribution at events across the district.
• Track volunteer data, shift attendance, and report results weekly to leadership.
• Support logistics for yard sign requests and distribution.
• Represent the campaign professionally at community events and volunteer activities.
