Job summary

Blood Cancer United is seeking a Campaign Development Specialist to support Light the Night campaigns in Orlando and Jacksonville. You will coordinate event logistics and data management to help exceed fundraising goals.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and 2–4 years in a related field, with strong MS Office and communication skills. Some travel, evenings, and weekends are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 2 - 4 years’ experience in a related role.
• Strong written and verbal communications skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite.
• Ability to supervise and lead a group of volunteers.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and timelines.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Education, Services and Health Research to communicate the mission, programs, resources, and priorities.
• Act as on-site manager during campaign fundraising events, overseeing activities, staff, vendors, and volunteers.
• Oversee logistics, timelines, and operational elements for assigned fundraising campaigns.
• Develop a strategic plan for peer-to-peer fundraising products, including revenue, budget, goals, and timelines.
• Manage expense budgets related to logistics.
• Research and recommend event venues and locations in coordination with National Shared Services.
• Manage data entry to ensure CRM and fundraising systems are accurate; provide reports as needed.
• Secure best rates or in-kind donations from vendors.
