Cub Creek Science Camp in Rolla, MO is seeking Camp Store Assistants for the 2027 season. You will work cooperatively to run the camp store, handle gift shop duties, and manage care packages while supporting campers and staff.

Starting pay is $4,050 for 11 weeks, with an additional $100 store credit. Housing, meals and laundry are included; weekend work is required and on-site availability is 7 days a week.

Camp Store Assistants

Work cooperatively with camp store assistants to ensure the smooth running of the camp store, gift shop, and care package orders.

KeyResponsibilities:

• Restock inventory and organize display of store items each day.
• Serve campers and staff during open hours of store locations.
• Ensure store locations and storage areas are cleaned and well maintained.
• Fill course and cabin supply requests.
• Print, fill and deliver care package orders.
• Provide emotional and behavioral support to campers as needed by following behavior management techniques as outlined in the staff manual and during training.
• Complete daily and weekly store documentation and reports.
• A desire to positively impact the life of a child and willingness to put the needs of campers first.
• Have a passion for science, animals and childhood development.
• Able to effectively communicate ideas, thoughts and instructions in a constructive manner.
• Self-motivated and able to work on tasks and assigned goals with minimal supervision.
• Be willing to learn new concepts and skills.
• Able to work in a team and both give and take direction from others.
• Willingness to adhere to camp’s code of conduct, rules and policies.

Startingpay $4050 for 11 week summer. Additional $100 credit in campstore for snacks and supplies. Housing, meals, and laundryincluded. Weekend work is required, this position requiresavailability to work on-site 7 days a week for the contractperiod. Two 1-hour breaksprovided each day, and 1 scheduled day offeach week.
