Job summary

Buckner International at Camp Buckner in Burnet, TX is seeking caring staff to enhance guest experiences. You will greet guests, support retreat leaders, set up spaces, and supervise staff to ensure smooth events and a safe, welcoming environment.

The role involves housekeeping, meal service support, and helping run activities and safety procedures. Flexibility for nights/weekends and adherence to Christian principles are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. required.
• ACCT Level 1 Challenge Course certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
• Lifeguard/Waterfront Skills certification or willingness to obtain.
• CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers and First Aid certifications or willingness to obtain.
• Archery Instructor Training Level 1 certification or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests on arrival, assign rooms and ensure needs are met throughout their stay.
• Support retreat leaders and guests during the entire stay.
• Set up, break down, and clean meeting facilities; ensure spaces meet guest requirements.
• Lead PRN and Summer Staff in hosting duties and banquet services.
• Perform housekeeping, food service, and maintenance duties as needed.
• Assist in safety activities such as challenge courses and lifeguarding.
• Direct guests to activities and assist during retreat programs.
• Maintain campus facilities and equipment; ensure safety and order.
