Job summary

University of Minnesota School of Nursing is seeking Camp Nursing Assistants to support health services at True Friends camp locations in Minnesota. You will administer medications, provide first aid, and monitor health needs for campers under supervision.

Housing and meals are provided. The role requires CPR/AED and First Aid certification, strong communication, and teamwork. Experience with health care in camp or disability services is valued.

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass the required organizational background check.
• CPR/AED and First Aid certifications are preferred/required.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Set up and administer medications according to procedures.
• Assist with training related to treatments, care, transfers, and emergency procedures.
• Provide first aid and treatment for minor wounds.
• Monitor and communicate health care needs to leadership.
• Maintain health care documentation and participant intake.
• Support cleanliness and safety of spaces used by participants and staff.
