• Ability to work with staff and volunteers of varying skill levels.
• Maintain high levels of cleanliness and safety.
• Maintain professional demeanor and tactful communication.
• Must maintain Food Service Certification once acquired.
• Must pass a criminal background check.
• Flexible hours, including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Greet dining guests with a joyful demeanor.
• Keep the dining area clean, clutter-free, and welcoming.
• Assist with assigned food service preparation.
• Assist in the Conifer Café as scheduled.
• Complete tasks that enhance Ponderosa’s food service experience.
• Communicate stocking and inventory needs and assist with procedures.
• Wash and store dishes, pots, and pans as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing and food prep areas.
• Reset and restock the dining hall as assigned.
• Switch dining hall and kitchen between groups as assigned.
• Ensure tasks are completed promptly.
• Maintain a high standard of personal grooming.
