Job summary

SpringHill Camps in Michigan is seeking a Sites & Facilities Manager to lead year-round and seasonal staff, volunteers, contractors, and teen crews in maintaining a 720-acre camp with ~150 buildings. You will oversee a broad range of trades to keep facilities safe, clean, and ready for campers.

The role requires strong leadership, task prioritization, and effective communication, with some on-call responsibilities to support camp operations and events.

Qualifications

• Commitment to the mission and ministry philosophy of SpringHill.
• Some college education preferred with 7+ years in professional trade areas.
• Experience training and leading teams.
• Demonstrate understanding of Spring Hill ministry, strategy, and mission.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of year-round and seasonal staff, volunteers, contractors, and teenage work crews.
• Define daily work priorities including preventative, corrective, and operations work across areas.
• Oversee HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Water/Septic, Carpentry, Vehicle Maintenance, Landscaping, and more.
• Create and manage a team schedule with on-call coverage beyond normal hours.
• Lead groups of Seasonal Staff and Volunteers and perform opening/closing camp duties.
• Lead daily devotionals for the Sites & Facilities team and Volunteers.
