Job summary

Under Canvas in Utah is seeking a Camp Facilities Manager to ensure glamping locations remain operational, safe, and well-maintained. You will report to the Operations Manager and supervise the Facilities team on site at Bryce Canyon and Widtsoe.

The role requires hands-on maintenance, budget stewardship, and leadership to streamline processes, support guest and team needs, and uphold company safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Maintenance technician experience with at least 2 years and 1 year in supervision.
• Experience with plumbing, septic, gas, electrical systems, generators, landscaping, road and water/well maintenance.
• Assist Operations Manager in annual maintenance department budget.
• Can perform duties in absence of OM; strong customer service and communication.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; capable of team training on policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Think critically to respond and react quickly to changing situations on property.
• Oversee and perform routine and preventative maintenance for all property aspects.
• Lead, train, and evaluate Facilities team; participate in performance reviews.
• Collaborate with the Operations Manager on hiring and budgeting tasks.
• Maintain relationships with local businesses and communities; uphold safety standards.
• Ensure camp-level SOPs are implemented, updated, and followed.
