Job summary

YMCA of Greenville is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support facility upkeep, preventive maintenance, and grounds operations at Camp Greenville. You will collaborate with management to maintain safe, clean, and welcoming spaces for members and program participants.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
1 year of experience in facility management or closely related field.
Valid driver’s license and acceptable MVR per YMCA policies.
Ability to communicate well with others and respond to safety situations.
Willingness to be trained and learn new skills.

Responsibilities

Plan and implement a comprehensive preventive maintenance program.
Manage and administer contracted services related to preventive maintenance.
Assign, implement, and complete work orders using the designated maintenance management system.
Perform basic building maintenance repairs and facility upgrades.
Operate equipment safely and effectively.
Work independently with minimal supervision.
Assist with custodial and housekeeping tasks as needed.
Coordinate with vendors on maintenance projects.
Ensure safety and risk management standards are followed.
