Job summary

YMCA of Greenville is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support facility upkeep at Camp Greenville and surrounding campuses. Under the supervision of the Property Director, you will perform preventive maintenance, repairs, landscaping, and vehicle maintenance to keep buildings safe and functional.

You will work with contracted services, manage work orders, and ensure safety and compliance, while delivering excellent service to members, staff, and volunteers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of facility management experience.
• Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing systems, carpentry.
• Valid driver's license required; YMCA driver eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement a comprehensive preventive maintenance program.
• Manage and administer contracted services related to preventive maintenance.
• Assign, implement, and complete work orders using the designated maintenance management system.
• Perform basic building maintenance repairs and facility upgrades.
• Operate equipment and machinery safely and effectively.
• Develop the ability to work independently without constant direct supervision.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
