Camps Airy & Louise seeks a Director of Camp Airy, the year-round leader responsible for advancing the mission and operational success. The Director will recruit campers, hire and develop staff, oversee programming and camp operations, and foster a values-based culture in collaboration with Camp Louise.

Position requires living onsite during summer and active engagement with the Airy & Louise community, with compensation in the $100k–$120k range plus benefits and summer housing.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of leadership in camps, youth programs, or education.
• Proven ability to recruit, mentor staff, and build community.
• Strong operations, safety, and program development experience.
• Genuine appreciation for Jewish tradition and pluralistic community.
• Willingness to live onsite during summer and travel regionally.

Responsabilidades

• Lead camper recruitment and retention; represent Camp Airy at events.
• Hire, train, and supervise seasonal and year-round staff; develop training.
• Oversee operations: facilities, dining, transportation, safety and compliance.
• Guide program development to keep camper experience engaging and values-based.
• Foster partnerships, alumni relations, and fundraising for Camp Airy & Louise.
