Job summary

Galileo Learning seeks an experienced Camp Director to lead our K–8th grade summer camps across the community. You will serve as site General Manager and public face, opening a Galileo location and guiding a seasonal team to deliver joyful, high-quality experiences for campers and families.

You will oversee operations, curriculum delivery, and customer care, while building a strong team culture and implementing Galileo’s Innovation Approach to turn challenges into opportunities.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience working directly with students in an education setting.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to manage scheduling, coaching, and payroll processes.

Responsibilities

• Launch and run a camp from preseason planning through end-of-summer wrap-up.
• Ensure camper safety, family trust, and program fidelity at all times.
• Train and mentor a staff team (7–40) and oversee daily operations.
