Job summary

Galileo Learning, LLC seeks an experienced Camp Director to lead our K-8th summer camps, acting as site General Manager and the public face of Galileo. You will open and operate a Camp Galileo location, directing a seasonal team to create joyful, safe environments and delivering excellence in customer care and curriculum.

The role emphasizes ownership of camp launch, day-to-day operations, parent communication, and upholding Galileo’s mission and program quality across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience working directly with students in education settings.
• Proven ability to coach staff and lead teams in dynamic environments.
• Strong written and verbal communication with families and partners.
• Ability to manage scheduling, payroll, and performance feedback.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of camp launches from preseason planning to wrap-up.
• Lead and develop a seasonal team of educators and support staff.
• Uphold program quality, camper safety, and exceptional family experiences.
• Communicate proactively with families, facilities partners, and cross-functional teams.
• Ensure accurate scheduling, payroll, and staff performance management.
