River’s Edge Theatre Company is seeking enthusiastic, responsible, and creative Camp Counselors for our Page to Stage Summer Camp, a two-week theatre program for kids ages 5–10 in Hastings-on-Hudson.. Dates: 3 weeks total - Aug 4-8, Aug 11-15, and Aug 19-22. Hours: 8:45 AM – 3:15 PM (Monday–Friday) (with half hour break). Compensation: $600/week. About the Camp:. Page to Stage is an exciting theatre experience where campers collaborate to devise, rehearse, and perform an original play. The program emphasizes creativity, teamwork, and self-expression, culminating in a performance for families and friends.. Responsibilities:. - Supervise and engage with campers throughout the camp day. - Assist the lead teaching artist in theatre games, devising activities, rehearsals, and performance prep. - Help maintain a safe, inclusive, and energetic environment. - Support campers in creative exploration, collaboration, and confidence-building. - Communicate with staff and parents as needed. - Help with daily set-up and clean-up
