Camp Chewonki is seeking a Camp Administrator to be the heartbeat of the camp office, guiding families from inquiry to enrollment. The role blends on-site campus work with some hybrid remote opportunities, and requires strong organizational and communication skills.

You will manage the enrollment process, organize travel days, and oversee the summer office while spending summers on our scenic midcoast Maine campus. Training in CampMinder and Salesforce is provided.

Qualifications

  • Background check and MVR are required.
  • Valid driver’s license is required.
  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Ability to work in high-paced environments.
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace.
  • Proficiency with CampMinder database (on-the-job training available).
  • Proficiency with Salesforce.
  • Experience with hybrid remote schedules.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the heart of the camp office and main contact for families.

Ready to bring your organizational superpower to the midcoast of Maine? Camp Chewonki is looking for an energetic, systems-savvy, and friendly Camp Administrator to serve as a pivotal member of our vibrant camp community.

As our Camp Administrator, you are the heart of the camp office and the main point of contact for our families. You will orchestrate the administrative engine that powers our life-changing summer programs—from guiding families through their very first enrollment inquiry to organizing travel days and managing our summer office. If you thrive on logistical precision, love building connections with families, and want to spend your summer living and working on our gorgeous coastal campus, this is the role for you.

Qualifications

  • Must pass a Criminal Background Check, including Motor Vehicle Record.
  • Valid Driver’s License approved by Chewonki’s insurance carrier.
  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to function well in high-paced and sometimes stressful environments.
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace.
  • Proficiency with CampMinder database (on-the-job training available).
  • Proficiency with Salesforce.
  • Experience working independently and on a hybrid remote schedule.
  • Must have a home workspace with internet that supports Zoom meetings and events (if working hybrid).
  • Attend required onboarding and training sessions (in-person/on campus).

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to list 40 lbs at a time.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
