Job summary

Camp Harlow in Eugene, Oregon is seeking a friendly, organized cook to help operate our three kitchens and prepare meals for camp guests and student groups. You will work with a team to deliver meals on schedule while upholding safety and quality standards.

The role offers either part-time or full-time hours. A positive, customer-service mindset and the ability to adapt to varying meal plans are essential. Health, vision, and dental insurance are available after a 90-day probationary period.

Qualifications

• Experience in a commercial food service setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals on schedule for 30 to 700 people according to the provided meal plan.

• Maintain kitchen and dining area cleanliness, including equipment, dishwashing, and organized storage.
• Assist the Manager with weekly inventory and food delivery processing.
• Transport meals using camp vehicles as needed.

Camp Harlow is a faith-based organization serving campers and guest groups year-round. As a cook, you will assist in operating our three kitchens. Responsibilities include preparing meals for camp guests as well as Monday-Friday meals for two college houses during the school year. Our menu ranges from scratch-made comfort food to simple high-volume meals. You will interact with staff and guests daily, so a friendly and professional attitude is required.

Successful candidates are organized, proactive problem solvers who can manage prep lists for multiple meals.

Part-Time or Full-Time positions available
