Job summary

Sandpearl Resort is seeking a Pool Attendant to greet guests, maintain a pristine pool deck, and provide exceptional service on-site in Clearwater. You will manage towel logistics, organize pool areas, and assist with safety and daily operations to ensure a memorable guest experience.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, flexibility to work weekends/holidays, and the ability to lift and stand for extended periods.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Previous experience is a plus.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Excellent guest service skills and oral communication.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs and carry up to 75 lbs; stand/walk for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests at the pool in a professional, friendly manner.
• Anticipate guest needs, respond promptly, acknowledge guests.
• Maintain positive guest relations at all times.
• Know daily house count, VIPs in-house, arrivals/departures, and hours for F&B outlets.
• Obtain towels from Laundry and transport to pool deck; fold and stack towels.
• Open, set up, and organize pool deck; set up furniture, towels, and umbrellas.
• Remove trash and debris; sweep, wash, mop, and dry pool decks.
• Check restrooms for supply levels and cleanliness; notify departments as needed.
• Adhere to pool safety standards and weather procedures.
• Perform closing duties and return soiled towels to Laundry.

Responsibilities:

• Greets all guests arriving at the pool in a professional, friendly, and engaging manner.
• Anticipate guests’ needs, responds promptly, and acknowledge all guests.
• Maintains positive guest relations at all times.
• Maintain complete knowledge of daily house count, VIPs in-house, arrivals/departures, all hotel facilities and services, and hours of operation for each F&B outlet.
• Obtain clean towels from Laundry and transport them to the pool deck; fold and stack towels.
• Open, set up, and organize pool deck.
• Set-up pool furniture, towels, and umbrellas.
• Remove trash and debris from all work areas and pool facilities.
• Sweep, wash down, mop, and clean the pool deck; use the squeegee to dry the decks.
• Check pool restrooms and throughout the shift for supply levels, cleanliness, and working order. Notify the proper departments of any needs.
• Adheres to all pool safety standards, including safety procedures for adverse weather conditions.
• Collects dirty towels left on chairs and pool deck.
• Utilize first aid and lifesaving procedures when situations demand.
• Complete closing duties. Return soiled towels to the Laundry.

Pay Rate:

$15 an hour

Qualifications:
