Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Physics, Electrical/Electronics, Computer, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields.
• 3+ years of relevant industry experience with emphasis on manufacturing test and product sustainment.
• Experience with data acquisition and processing with MATLAB, Python and other programming languages.
• Experience with test automation and report generation.
• Strong root cause analysis skills of non-conforming hardware, software, and firmware.
• Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience integrating electrical, opto-mechanical, and software/firmware systems.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ownership of test activities in production and ensure production test flow.
• Troubleshoot infrared systems issues found during testing.
• Maintain test capabilities across the manufacturing value stream from system to component level.
• Generate test work instructions for technicians and train on equipment use.
• Develop library of common failure modes with troubleshooting guides.
• Maintain and develop software for test automation, data analytics, and reports.
• Identify root causes of failures and recommend corrective actions (RCCA).
• Collaborate with Design, Quality and Manufacturing to support returns and failure analysis.
• Provide feedback to early-stage test design for NPC/test processes.
• Analyze test data and document results to identify defects and improvements.
• Collaborate with design engineers on product enhancements based on test outcomes.
• Optimize test strategies to improve efficiency and reduce test time.
