AbelCine in Brooklyn, NY is seeking a Rental Prep Technician to join our New York rental team. You will assemble camera packages and prepare orders to ensure a seamless checkout and exceptional client experience.

Work with Rental Agents and Technicians to troubleshoot issues, maintain gear, and keep the gear room organized. The role requires experience with professional cinema cameras, lenses, and accessories, plus the ability to lift up to 70 lbs. Excellent communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Experience with professional digital cinema camera equipment and lenses.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift and move cases up to 70 lbs.
• Multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble camera packages for checkout or shipment.
• Review job lists and coordinate with technicians on assignments.
• Prepare orders to meet technical specifications and client needs.
• Assist clients at checkout and troubleshoot issues.
• Maintain gear, testing, and routine maintenance.
• Keep the rental floor and workstation clean and presentable.
