Job summary

Wyze in Kirkland, WA is seeking a Technical Project Manager to own hardware/software delivery and drive camera launches from concept to shelf. You will coordinate China-based development with U.S. launch readiness and lead cross-functional teams including product, firmware, app, cloud, AI, and platform groups.

You’ll monitor milestones, dependencies, and risk, while enabling rapid decision-making and clear ownership across distributed teams. Fluency in Mandarin and English is required.

Qualifications

• Direct experience managing consumer hardware, IoT, robotics or embedded systems.
• Knowledge of EVT, DVT, PVT and hardware development lifecycles.
• Hands-on with physical devices and firmware vs software issues.
• 3+ years in technical/project/hardware software management.
• Experience with distributed teams, especially China-based.
• Strong execution: planning, dependency/risk tracking, accountability.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for cross-functional audiences.
• Proficiency with Jira, Confluence or similar tools.
• Ability to apply AI and automation to improve execution and visibility.
• Willingness to flex hours to overlap with China time zones.
• Fluency in Mandarin Chinese and English.

Responsibilities

• Drive camera product launches end-to-end from concept to shelf.
• Own integrated launch plans linking China development with U.S. readiness.
• Track timelines, dependencies, risks, and decisions.
• Coordinate sample distribution, marketing, CX, legal/finance, and handoffs.
• Support hardware and software delivery with cross-team alignment.
• Run launch meetings with clear decisions and owners.
• Maintain visibility of ownership and timelines across distributed teams.
