Job summary

Apple's Image Quality Lab is seeking a results-driven automation engineer to design, build, and present analyses of camera image quality investigations. You will develop custom automation solutions for the Camera Imaging lab and collaborate with cross-functional teams to influence iPhone camera performance.

The role requires hands-on experience with imaging quality metrics, lab automation, and programming in C++/Python/Swift, along with a BS in a related field.

Qualifications

• Real-world experience building automation systems.
• Knowledge of imaging pipelines and camera terminology.
• Experience with ISO Image Quality Metrics and charts.
• Cross-functional collaboration skills.
• BS degree in CS, Software Eng, Imaging Science, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Design custom lab tests for features, algorithms, or hardware solutions.
• Analyze results to influence decisions across Camera teams.
• Build bespoke automation solutions for the imaging lab.
